This Privacy Policy describes how SIPLIVE ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our multi-tenant telecommunications management platform, including voice communications, SMS messaging, contact center operations, portal access, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
Account and Portal Data
- Names, email addresses, and login credentials for portal users
- Role assignments, tenant affiliations, and access permissions
- Authentication events, session activity, and audit logs
- Single sign-on (SSO) identity tokens from third-party providers
Telecommunications Data
- Call detail records (CDR) including originating and terminating numbers, call duration, timestamps, and disposition
- Voicemail recordings and transcriptions
- Phone numbers (DIDs), extensions, and trunk configurations
- Real-time call events and queue activity
SMS and Messaging Data
- Phone numbers used to send and receive messages
- Message content transmitted through the platform
- Consent and opt-out records associated with phone numbers
- Message delivery status and carrier receipts
System and Configuration Data
- PBX server configurations, dial plans, and routing rules
- Tenant organization details, branding, and module settings
- Backup archives and system state snapshots
- API access tokens and integration credentials (stored encrypted)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the SIPLIVE platform and its features
- Route and complete voice calls and SMS messages
- Authenticate users and enforce access controls
- Generate reporting, analytics, and operational dashboards
- Maintain audit logs for compliance and security purposes
- Process and deliver SMS messages to consented recipients
- Honor opt-out requests and maintain suppression lists
- Back up system data and enable disaster recovery
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests
3. SMS Messaging and Consent
When recipients provide consent to receive text messages, we collect and store their phone number and consent status. We use this information solely to deliver requested messages and to honor opt-out requests.
Opt-out: Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. A single confirmation will be sent. No further messages will be delivered. Reply START to re-subscribe.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by use case.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share information only with:
- Telecommunications carriers (e.g., Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth) as required to route calls and deliver messages
- Cloud infrastructure and storage providers used to host, back up, or operate the platform, under data processing agreements
- Identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Okta, Google) when SSO is configured, solely to authenticate users
- Authorized tenant administrators who manage their organization's data within their scoped access
- Law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law or legal process
5. Data Retention
Data is retained based on operational need and legal obligation:
- Call detail records and message logs are retained per the configured backup retention policy (default 30 days, configurable)
- Audit logs are retained per the configured audit retention period
- Consent and opt-out records are retained indefinitely to honor suppression preferences
- User account data is retained until the account is deleted by an administrator
- Backup archives are retained per the target-specific retention policy

6. Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards including:
- TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for credentials, API keys, and backup archives
- Role-based access control with per-tenant data isolation
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) support via Duo, passkeys, and hardware security keys
- Comprehensive audit logging of all administrative actions
- Password policies enforcing complexity, expiry, and history requirements
7. Cookies and Tracking
The SIPLIVE portal uses session cookies to maintain authenticated sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or behavioral advertising technologies. The public marketing site at siplive.net does not set tracking cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
SIPLIVE is a business-to-business platform not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
